IW Scouts meet Royalty
Ever since Queen Victoria bought a property on the Isle of Wight and Prince Albert Created the magnificent Osbourne House in East Cowes, Members of the Royal Family have had ties to the Isle of Wight. HM The Queen and HRH Prince Phillip frequently attended Cowes week yachting regatta, mostly staying in the Royal Yacht Britannia. Sometimes when they visit members of Isle of Wight Scouting get to meet them. Here are a couple of recent visits.
